How we price it
Gold trades in troy ounces of pure metal. Your item is an alloy, so the first step is finding the karat: 10K is 41.7% gold, 14K is 58.3%, 18K is 75%, 22K is 91.7%.
We multiply the tested purity by the weight in grams to get the pure gold content, then apply today's market to that number.
Nothing is estimated or eyeballed. You see the karat test, the scale reading and the math before you decide.

Do you buy gold-plated or gold-filled items?+
Plated and filled items contain too little gold to recover, so we cannot pay for them. We test and tell you honestly which pieces are solid gold.
Is there a minimum amount of gold to sell?+
No minimum. We buy a single earring just as readily as a full jewelry box.
